"The Journey Vs. the Destination"
Too often when we set a goal for ourselves whether it be weight loss or a fitness related goal, we can't wait to get to the "finish line"
So that brings me to the topic "The Journey Vs. the Destination"
Which is important? Is the journey more important than the destination? Or vice versa? Is 1 more important than the other?
"Too often we are preoccupied with the destination we forget the journey"
I can personally say I used to be all for the destination, the finish line so to speak. But now at this particular time in my life I am enjoying the journey. I am learning to "stop and smell the roses". That is how I learn about myself. Don't we all want to learn about ourselves with each passing day?
The journey is where we live, the journey is where we grow and learn who we are. However, without recognizing what our destination is we risk wandering mindlessly. A goal without a plan is just a wish.

Live for today, be in the moment, you just may learn something new about yourself which will lead you to your desired destination and once you reach that destination you can be guaranteed you are ready for another journey!
