July 24th Changes are being made..............

I met with my coach yesterday and was pleased to have dropped 9lbs in 3 weeks and dropped 2% body fat! I have to say I'm completely loving the way I feel. I've never been stronger in the gym as I am now. Keeping track of how heavy I lift gives me a sense of how I am progressing. Writing everything down is key. That goes for my diet. I write everything down, not missing a thing.

The 1st month was a bitch, I had a couple of meltdowns and I must say I was riddled with self-doubt! NO MORE of that!!! I am picturing myself on that stage. The more I dream of it the more I know I will achieve it!

My workouts are staying the same for the exception of adding more cardio at night. I don't mind it actually...there's that ENERGY thing again lol.

*Goal for myself* To continue increasing how much weight I can push pull and lift!

Some people are asking for progress pics so I will start posting some.

Be well everyone!

July 11, 2012 Day 34 dieting / training

Well this seems to be the week that everything is coming together and changes are being made and seen. I started carb cycling last week and my clothing is getting looser and looser. It feels great when students, my fiancee, my daughter  or people at the gym say "wow you look great" or "I can see such a difference". It makes all the hard work worthwhile! Hey who doesn't like a compliment here and there? It's what keeps me going at times.

I have completely embraced my dieting and training. I've always loved the gym but I really look forward to each and every workout (except legs, which is a bear of a workout) haha.

I had a bit of a meltdown on July 4th and with my birthday the next day. Not being able to celebrate the way I normally would put me in a bad way. However, I got over that and I'm back to being completely 120% focused! I recite to myself...."you got this, you can do it, keep pushing"!

Everyday I  envision myself on stage. The saying is "If you can dream it, you can achieve it" I will achieve it and I cant wait to have my friends and family there cheering me on!

Always remember this........if you have a dream don't be afraid to go after it! After all , you are stronger than you think.
